Bossay-sur-Claise is a small town in the department of Haute Marne. It has been inhabited since prehistoric times and it is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. In its old days, this place was famous for lace making and silk weaving. Nowadays, it’s known for being a wonderful tourist destination that offers both historical monuments and natural beauty.
It has a population of only about 250 people but it has its own local festival called “Fête des Vendanges” which is celebrated each year on the first weekend after harvest time. There are many other attractions to explore around this small village including castles and more.

The town of Bossay-sur-Claise is recently referred to as the “Gateway to Val de Creuse” because it’s located at the beginning of a scenic route through this part of France.
